My Montessori journey began with my son. Each time I visited his school, I wondered what they were teaching with all those “colourful things” around. I joined the Montessori training program offered by The Freethinking Team, and it opened my eyes to a new way of looking at education. It was so different from the traditional method I knew, where learning was mostly through books. As the course went on, even the simplest tasks started to feel exciting. I still remember my first practical lesson unrolling and rolling a mat. At first, it seemed too simple, but then I realized how much it mattered. A mat was not just about tidiness; it was about order, respect, and preparation. This course showed me how everyday tasks can become lessons that help children grow into responsible adults. The theory classes gave us the base, but it was in the practical sessions that these ideas truly made sense. Working with the materials showed me clearly how children use their senses to learn. For me, material making was the best part of the course. Knowing that the things we made would actually be used in the classroom gave me a special joy and made the work feel meaningful. Overall, the Montessori course was a real eye-opener. Coming from traditional school, I now realize how much we missed as children. What will I actually learn?

You will move beyond theory to master the “Prepared Environment” the heart of Montessori education.

Theory: You will study child psychology, developmental milestones, and the life of Dr. Maria Montessori.
Demonstrations You will learn the purpose and presentation of specialized Montessori materials.
Supervised Practice: You will have hands-on time with materials under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Observation You will be assigned to Montessori schools to observe and record how children interact with the environment.

What happens after graduation?

Certification: You receive a Montessori Teacher’s Training Diploma, qualifying you to work with children aged 3 to 6 years.

Job Placement: FTTA provides job placement assistance, including resume building and networking. We even offer guaranteed placements for those who complete the program successfully within the agreed timeline.

Consultancy: If you wish to start your own school, our team of experts provides consultancy on space planning, material procurement, and hiring (additional fees apply).

How much hands on preparation is required outside of the lecture hours?

The Montessori method is deeply practical, so your “homework” involves much more than just reading. You will be creating your own professional reference library and teaching tools.

The Five Albums: You will prepare five comprehensive albums covering the key
Montessori areas Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies. These albums serve as your lifelong manuals for how to present materials to children.
Material Making You won't just buy tools; you will be guided on how to create your own Montessori materials. This ensures you can set up a classroom even on a budget.
Written Assignments Throughout the course, you will submit essays based on theory, material-making assignments, and detailed observation reports from your time in actual classrooms.
Study Time While we recommend at least five hours of study per week to stay effective , students should be prepared to dedicate four to six hours of structured work at home on assignment days to stay on top of their albums and material creation.
Future Reference By the end, you will have six complete folders (or files) that cover everything from philosophy to classroom management, providing a "school-in-a-box" reference for your future career.
